I had a few minutes before an appointment today, camera in hand. Taking photos of things I usually walk right past. It was so energizing, feeling that inspiration. It really is all around.

Aquamarine

Me: It just feels like it’s missing something.
Daughter: You could add birds somewhere else.
Me: Maybe I will leave it as is, uncomfortably missing something.
Daughter: You could be dropping something, like leaving something behind.

Brilliant.

I thought about what I could be dropping, what I could add. But what needs letting go of is not something you see. And it can be uncomfortable. So I’m leaving it as is for now.

Rather awkwardly letting go.
